ANOTHER Status Yellow wind warning has been issued for Kerry, commencing at midnight and remaining in place until 8 o’clock on Monday morning.

The Met Éireann warning

Met Éireann said the warning will apply to counties along the south west and west, taking in Kerry, Mayo, Galway and Donegal.

Southerly winds are expected to reach mean speeds of 50 to 65kh/h with occasional gusts of 90 to 100kh.

The public has been advised to take necessary precautions for high winds. including securing items or property such as hoarding, signage, garden furniture and other items.

Members of the public are also advised to avoid walking or cycling in exposed coastal areas.
