Despite the terrible weather, it didn’t dampen the spirits of our members that showed up to march in the annual St Patrick’s parade in Killarney and a great time was had by all.

Special thanks to Geraldine O’Neill and her committee for the great organisation. Thanks also to Pat O’Neill, our chauffeur, and the beautiful Lily of Killarney, Eve O’Donoghue. Thanks to Paul Fitzgerald for the truck and his very reliable drivers, Gerry O’Riordan and Darragh Sheehy.

Our Scór na nÓg, All-Ireland winning set dancers and their teacher Triona Mangan took part and leading the parade were our two All-Ireland winning minors Dara Moynihan and Evan Cronin. Special thanks to all who showed up in their club colours

Ladies: Training for under 6 to under 2 players is indoors on Saturdays from 10am to 11am and for under 14 to under 16 players it’s Tuesdays from 6pm to 7pm.

Minors: Spa 3-7 John Mitchels 2-14. The boys in blue were missing a couple of regulars but, inspired by Niall McCarthy in midfield, they turned in a great team performance when racing into a two-point lead at half-time. Playing against a strong breeze in the second half, Spa played well before losing this tight contest at the end when Mitchels scored a late goal.
