EARLY morning shoppers in Killarney this Friday had a double take when they spotted a very familiar face in the stores and on the aisles beside them.
Popular Newstalk presenter Sean Moncrieff was getting in a spot of early morning shopping and he looked to be thoroughly enjoying the experience as he strolled through the streets in glorious sunshine.
Not exactly weighed down with purchases but having picked up a few items that caught his eye, he was out and about very early and he was back at his base in the Malton Hotel before 11.00am.
Moncrieff will broadcast live from the Malton this afternoon where he will host his popular Movies and Booze slot from 2.00pm.
He has also promised a day of live music, a bit of leather and bike action from the Killarney Bikefest and some familiar local personalities,
Throughout the broadcast, fast-talking Moncrieff will be joined by wine expert Jean Smullen and broadcaster and film critic Sarina Bellissimo and, when the show concludes, there will be more fun at a wine tasting event in the hotel.
