WHEN the going gets tough the members of Killarney Triathlon Club get going and none more so than super fit Denise Casey who made her mark, in no uncertain terms, in the gruelling Tri Kingdom Come triathlon.
Super fit Denise, from Muckross, produced a power-packed performance to win the ladies’ race despite very strong competition at Fenit.
Killarney club PRO. Karl O’Leary, said as a fledgling club it was a great success and a number of its members took part and made an impression in the big event.
The Tri Kingdom Come involved a hugely demanding swim, cycle and run and close on 400 athletes participated.
