SMALL businesses and start-ups from throughout Kerry attended a Grow with Google digital workshop in Killarney at which top tips were offered on how to grow business online.
The event, held in the Brehon Hotel, was hosted in partnership with Enterprise Ireland and it advised businesses to acquire the skills needed to embrace opportunities presented by technology.
The aim of the half-day workshop was to support businesses to grow as they navigate an uncertain climate and the event featured mentoring and talks focussed on digital skills to leverage today’s business and commercial opportunities.
Matters reviewed included getting a business online, using data to drive growth and going global with digital.
MEP Seán Kelly addressed the workshop and advised of uncertainty and business challenges for rural business communities.
“This event is important as it allows businesses to receive mentoring and coaching in the tools and skills that can help them prepare for the changes over the coming months and continue to grow in an ever-increasing competitive global marketplace,” he said.
