Christy Killeen, in his final year as chairman, thanked everyone that helped make the competition a success competition a success, particularly as it had not been held since 2019 due to the Covid pandemic.

And the participants returned to the stage with a vengeance with some top class performances that gave the adjudicators a number of very difficult decisions to make when separating the winners from the runners-up.

As a result of the great activity in Currow, Kerry will have eight disciplines proceeding to the Munster Scór Sinsear finals which will be going ahead in the Community Hall, Cappamore, Co Limerick on Sunday, October 16.

The provincial finals will commence at 4.00pm with the quiz followed at 6.00pm with the main stage events.
