Ger to be remembered at big tractor run

The memory of a great community man, who dedicated much of his life to helping good causes, is to be honoured with a bumper tractor run on Sunday, October 27.

Killarney Valley Classic and Vintage Club together, with the Kilcummin community, launched the Ger Healy Memorial Tractor Run and profits will go to Kilcummin Ladies Gaelic Football Association- a cause very close to his heart.

Registration on the day will be between 10.30am and 12.15pm

This event is open to all tractors with classic and vintage models taking the lead around the Kilcummin area.

This is set to be a day to remember Ger – who passed away last March – and everything he loved in his community.

Light refreshments will be enjoyed in the GAA hall afterwards.
