FOLLOWING a sold-out show in February, Gavin James is to return to the INEC in Killarney for an intimate acoustic, over 18’s seated show.
The star, who has had an immensely successful couple of years, will take to the stage on on October 20 for what promises to be a show to remember.
One of the most genuine and humble men in music, Gavin is unsurprisingly thrilled with the way his career is progressing.
“I’m loving every minute of this. It’s everything I’ve ever wanted and I can’t wait to know what comes next,” he said.
Gavin has had platinum top five sales for his debut album, Bitter Pill, in Ireland, where he was awarded the song of the year accolade for the album’s title track at the Choice Music Prize.
In the spring of 2015, he appeared on US television’s Dancing with the Stars and released a four-track EP titled For You. Later that year, he was invited to open for chart-toppers Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith on their respective tours and released singles, including Bitter Pill, from his full-length studio debut of the same name.
The musician had a stellar 2016 in that he was a Spotify Spotlight Artist of 2016, appeared on BBC’s One Show and was included in various ones to watch lists, including the Sun and Buzzfeed.
Tickets go on sale for this strictly over 18’s fully seated acoustic performance on Thursday next and are available from www.inec.ie or www.ticketmaster.ie.
