Just days after welcoming Kerry’s All-Ireland winning stars with the Brendan Martin Cup, the excited pupils at Cullina National School welcomed another VIP visitor when a local member of An Garda Siochána arrived at the school gates.

Garda Cathy Murphy from Killarney Garda Station paid a visit to coincide with Road Safety Week and she passed on some top tips to the pupils on how to stay safe when they are out and about.

She chatted with junior and senior infant classes and she taught them a great deal about how to protect themselves and what to watch out for when they are walking, cycling or crossing the road.
