KERRY Gardai have reported how they stopped a car, driven by a learner driver, who was unaccompanied by a qualified driver and was driving without insurance, tax or NCT certification.
The vehicle also had a badly worn tyre that was not fit for the road.
Although they haven’t divulged in what part of the county the incident occurred – though it’s understood to be Killarney – Gardai made photographs available today show the extent of the bald tyre and to highlight the dangers on the road.
Gardai seized the vehicle and the driver is due to be appear in courts in the near future.
