GARDAI investigating the theft of property from vehicles parked at Torc Waterfall in Killarney are anxious to hear from anyone who might recognise this man through the distinctive clothing he is wearing.
Two vehicles parked in the car park at the scenic visitor attraction were broken into and rucksacks containing cash and jewellery were snatched.
The incident occurred at around 12.30pm on Tuesday, November 6 and the tourists targeted were obviously very upset – and out of pocket – after the ordeal.
A person in the vicinity at the time managed to get a photograph of this male leaving the area and gardai are anxious to talk to him to determine if he saw anything or knows anything about the crime.
He was wearing a very distinctive purple jacket with a hood and navy or black outdoor walking trousers with sky blue pockets. He was also wearing a cap.
Anybody that might be able to identify the man or help in the investigation in any way is asked to contact Killarney Garda Station on 064-6631222.
