GARDAI in Killarney have appealed for any information that might be of assistance following two attempted break-ins last Saturday and Sunday.
The first incident occurred on the Woodlawn area when a homeowner discovered damage to the bottom of his front door which appeared to be caused by some kind of tool.
The second attempted burglary occurred in the early hours of January 1 in the Scrahan Court area of Ross Road. A resident observed two males exiting the front garden of a neighbour’s house and the owner later discovered tool marks on the front door and on a rear window.
Gardai would like to hear from anyone in the Scrahan Court area that might have seen two males acting suspiciously in the early hours of Monday morning. They believe both men were wearing dark clothing and hoodies on and one was wearing a baseball cap.
