GARDAI have confirmed that they are investigating an allegation by a young woman that she was held against her will and physically and sexually assaulted in a B+B in Killarney late on St Patrick’s night or in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The alleged incident is said to have occurred in a premises close to Killarney town centre.
The woman, aged in her late teens and from Cork, has been interviewed by Gardai who are treating the allegations seriously.
Investigations are ongoing and no arrests have been made.
