Gardai in Killarney are investigating a break-in and theft that occurred at a commercial premises in the town centre at the weekend.
The incident occurred at Khao restaurant– a popular and busy Asian street food premises on High Street – some time between 11 o’clock on Friday night and 10 o’clock on Saturday morning.
A side window in the laneway beside the premises was smashed and a cash register was stolen from the restaurant.
There was no money on the premises at the time of the robbery.
Khao is located between the Dealz store and Corkery’s Sports Bar and the laneway is running adjacent to the restaurant.
