A STRIKING look inspired by two American First Ladies of different generations, Jackie Kennedy Onassis and Melania Trump, was deemed a winner at Listowel Races this Sunday.
The fabulous powder blue outfit won the sought-after best dressed lady prize for a delighted Margaret Hynes Cahill, from Ardfert.
Margaret, who is a Garda and models with the Holman Lee Agency, purchased her look from Jasmine Boutique in Tralee.
Judged by former Xpose presenter and founder and editor of Exquisite.ie, Aisling O’Loughlin, and fashion blogger by Orlagh Winters, there was a total best dressed prize fund of €5,000, generously sponsored by the businesses and publicans of Listowel town.
The first runner-up in the best dressed lady category was Shin Hayes from Cork in a cherry fitted jumpsuit with matching headpiece by Marc Millinery and second runner-up was Cathy Dillon from Athenry wearing a very eyecatching colour block ensemble with a headpiece by Caitriona King.

The winner of the Classy Lady prize was Mary Kelliher from Killorglin who wore a headpiece by Carol Kennelly and an outfit by MacBees Killarney while the best accessory title went to Lisa Martin from Tralee for her beautiful bespoke neckpiece by designer Rebekah Wall.
The June races is the first of two race meetings at the scenic Listowel Race Course, with the second seven-day Harvest Racing Festival meeting commencing on September 10.
