Two great causes in Kerry have gained financially from separate fundraising events held on their behalf.
An impressive total of €13,000 was raised for Kerry Mental Health Association on #TieDayFriday which encouraged people to wear a tie and make a donation while a fundraising get-together was also held in Tralee to coincide with the event.
In Killarney, meanwhile, a fundraising coffer morning was held in the Great Southern Hotel to generate support for St Francis Special School in Beaufort to acknowledge the magnificent work that is being done there.
The Killarney event was organised by Steve and Teresa O’Mahony whose daughter, Alexis, benefits hugely from the services at the school.
