It has been a major feature on the local sporting calendar for an astonishing 235 years – with a handful of unavoidable interruptions – and this year’s Killarney Regatta promises to provide another feast of top class racing, great entertainment and a fun day out for all the family.

The big event – postponed last year due to adverse weather and obviously not held during the pandemic – will see six clubs taking to the water in various age categories with Workmen, Muckross, Flesk Valley, Fossa, St Brendan’s and Commercials all competing for glory.

The venue, as always, will be Mahony’s Point at Killarney Golf and Fishing Club and the action will get underway at 9.30am with all ages competing, both male and female, as the day progresses.

While the battles commence on the water, there will be great action on shore also with music, song, food and children’s entertainment.
