FOSSA’S under 16 boys continued their winning ways with a 2-10 to 0-11 victory over Rathmore in the East Kerry Championship. They next play Dr Crokes in the Division 2 final in Fitzgerald Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Fossa under 12 boys were away to Legion on Sunday in the East Kerry League. The game proved a great contest with Fossa going in at half-time two points in front 0-11 to 2-3.
There was some good scoring in the first half from Harry Kelly, Rian Colleran and Sam Buckley. In the second period the Fossa boys played much better with 1-2 from Sean Dineen and points from Harry Kelly, Darren Ryan, Patrick Lyons and Ryan O’Leary.
Dean Sheehan, Robert Brooks and Peadar Kelliher were very strong in defence. The experiment of playing Cian Doyle in goal is also working well.
