Festive feast of quality entertainment

The fabulous O’Neill Sisters performing in concert

IT has all the necessary ingredients to conjure up a festive feast and a real seasonal treat is in store this Thursday night as the sensational O’Neill Sisters take to the stage at the INEC in Killarney.

The supremely talented trio will be accompanied by the Kerry Choral Union, an eight-piece band as well as the dulcet-toned Killarney ballader Cathal Flaherty and the brilliant Voiceworks Kids Choir.

It is being billed as the feelgood concert of the season and it is guaranteed to get everyone in the Christmas spirit with patrons to be treated to many Christmas classics as well as a few surprises.

The O’Neill sisters shot to fame when their rendition of the Irish classic Red is the Rose went viral, reaching over seven million views worldwide in a matter of weeks. Most recently they performed for Pope Francis on his visit to Ireland

“Rehearsals have been going extremely well and working with both choirs and Cathal Flaherty has been very exciting,” said event promoter David Rea.

“It is a mammoth production with over 100 involved but the result will culminate in Kerry’s most spectacular concert in years and quite a few surprises on the night,” promised promoter David Rea.

Tickets cost €27.65 and further information is available from the INEC Box Office. Visit www.inec.ie or call 064-71555.
