Christmas carols rang out and a wonderful festive season atmosphere prevailed as pupils and staff at Fossa National School embraced the season that’s in it.

Adding greatly to the occasion, pupils from Ukraine displayed some of the great Christmas traditions from their native place.

They were joined for the happy occasion by visiting musicians, including Pádraig Buckley of the Killarney School of Music and Marie Falvey, both from Fossa, who displayed their skills on the accordion.

The fun event was held in Fossa Community Centre which is adjacent to the school and the pupils got the chance to shine and show off their vocal prowess.
