
THE Kerry Friends of Motor Neurone Association will hold a public information evening in the Killarney Plaza Hotel this Thursday night and everybody interested is invited to attend.
The event will be addressed by family members telling their stories of coping and dealing with Motor Neurone disease with one sufferer also willing to tell his story of being diagnosed with MND and how he has coped.
The IMNDA regional development officer, an MND specialist care nurse and a person who conducted extensive research work with Motor Neurone sufferers will also address the meeting.
Kerry Friends of Motor Neurone chairman, Christy Lehane, will also make a cheque presentation to the IMNDA on the night with the event timed to get underway at 8.00pm.
