THEY continued to flock to Killorglin in their thousands from early on Friday morning until the early hours of this Saturday morning and revellers enjoyed all the fun of the fair with a great atmosphere on the streets.
The town centre amusements proved a great attraction for children and the young at heart while, indoors, it was entertainment of a different kind as pints were supped, songs were sung and stories were swapped.
Face painters were devising all sorts of creative designs to ensure their customers stood out and buskers and entertainers on the streets really added to the occasion.
The streets were thronged as visitors checked out what was on offer from the market stalls and even the fortune tellers were reporting a brisk trade, even if one couldn’t oblige two merry men with information on tonight’s lotto numbers.
The festivities continue this Saturday before the Scattering Day celebrations and a spectacular fireworks display bring Puck 2017 to a conclusion tonight,
