EXPERTS on the economic outlook for the Irish economy, with an emphasis on the Kerry and Munster region and perspectives on investment landscape globally, were heard at specialist bank and investment firm Investec‘s annual ‘The Year Ahead’ conference held in the Killarney Park Hotel.
Investec’s chief economist, Philip O’Sullivan spoke about the economic outlook for the local region and included an upbeat assessment of the potential there is for taking advantage of Foreign Direct Investment opportunities.
He said Munster is a highly credible and competitive alternative to Dublin where the supply of commercial property is at an historic low and where the city remains unable to keep pace with demand for housing.
