Experts lined up with some top tips

AN informative mortgage information evening, at which a number of experts will offer their advice and support free of charge, will be held in the Killarney branch of Bank of Ireland this Wednesday, November 6, from 6.00pm.

Everybody is welcome to attend the event which will be of particular benefit to those planning to buy their first home, those seeking practical savings tips or people interested in building an extension to their current homes.

Questions that will be addressed on the night include when to engage a solicitor, how to avoid delays in the legal process, engaging an architect and an auctioneer, the deposit required to obtain a mortgage and the best mortgage options.

There will also be an opportunity for one-to-one interaction with each profession.

Guest speakers lined up for the panel discussion include solicitor Conor Myles, architect/engineer Adrian Sheehan, auctioneer Brian O’Leary and mortgage specialist Fergus Clifford and the MC for the event will be Mary Brosnan.

The event will commence at 6.00pm with a meet and greet session at which refreshments will be served and that will be followed from 6.15pm to 6.45pm with a panel discussion and questions and answers session.

For another half an hour after that, the panel of experts will be available to meet those in attendance on a one-to-one basis.
