
With just days remaining until the Dingle Lit Festival, taking place from November 15-17, excitement is building as this year’s festival will showcase an exceptional line-up of literary talent, including esteemed authors Cecelia Ahern, Roddy Doyle, Diarmuid Ferriter, Oliver Jeffers, Easkey Britton and Róise Ní Bhaoill.
This year’s festival will feature engaging author readings, insightful panel discussions and interactive workshops designed for all ages.
Due to overwhelming interest, several events are already fully booked, including sessions with Liam Ó Néill, Roddy Doyle, the short story competition and the Writers on the Bus event.

The festival will feature a diverse range of events, including:
- An Capall Dorcha and the Frustrated Writers’ Group: Editors Tom Roseingrave and Laura Harvey Graham will read selections from their publications and discuss the invaluable role of literary journals in supporting diverse styles and genres.
- We Are Human Too – A Story of Disabled Activists: Ann Marie Flanagan will lead a compelling exploration f the past and visions for the future through the lens of disabled activists and allies, addressing critical themes such as nationalism, theocracy and dehumanisation.
- Exploring the Art of Translation: Bridget Farrell, founder of Bullaun Press and acclaimed translator DeirdreMcMahon will delve into the fascinating world of literary translation and the intricacies involved in theprocess.
