To celebrate a fantastic season, Killarney Races will thank the loyal community and sponsors, with free admission on Monday, October 7 at the final race meeting of the year.
Racing takes place at Killarney Racecourse on Sunday and Monday, October 6/7 and the autumn race meeting offers patrons great racing, socialising and entertainment at Ireland’s most scenic racecourse. The two-day fixture will draw the curtain on a very successful 2024 season.
Sunday will offer an exciting national hunt card with seven exciting races over jumps for punters to enjoy with the first race off at 1.40pm and gates open from 11.40am.
With a number of ticket levels and packages including food and beverage options to choose from, whether it is close to the action general admission tickets or silver service fine dining, there will be something for everyone at Killarney Races.
Monday will offer another seven race card, this time on the flat, offering thrilling races for spectators to enjoy throughout the day. The first race is off at 1.45pm and gates open from 11.45am.
Punters should note that there is limited availability in the corporate suite on both days so to avoid disappointment organisers are encouraging early booking.
To reflect the free admission on the Monday, there is an online exclusive offer called the Last Gallop Package and for €25 racegoers will receive a race card, a pint of beer, a burger and chips, and a €5 Tote betting voucher.
Killarney Racecourse General Manager, Karl McCabe, said the October race meeting will bring a wonderful conclusion to the 2024 season.
“It has been a fantastic year of racing at the track and we would like to thank all of our patrons who visited us and our valued sponsors to whom we are so grateful. Although I can’t promise everyone a winner, I can guarantee there will be great craic at the track during our season finale,” he said.
Adult tickets are available on Sunday from €15 and children under 14 will be admitted free of charge.
