TWO young Kerry players have been selected on the Munster Post Primary Inter Provincial ladies football team.
Emma Dineen from the Glenflesk club and Katie O’Mahony from Rathmore were selected after two intensive trial games.
Emma, a pupil in St Brigid’s Presentation Secondary School in Killarney, starred at midfield for the All-Ireland winning Kerry Under 16 side in 2015.
Scoil Pobail Sliahh Luachra pupil Katie was a leading light for the Kerry minors and won a senior county championship medal with the Rathmore/Spa combination.
The competition will take place at the weekend in Dublin.
