Tenacious defender Eilís Lynch is the only Kerry player selected on the AIB GAA ladies’ club team of the year.
The Castleisland Desmond star slots in at corner back in a side that is dominated by players from all-Ireland champions Galway’s Kilkerrin-Clonberne and Dublin’s Kilmacud Crokes.
Castleisland this season secured their fourth Munster crown and their first since 1986.

Dr Crokes duo Brian Looney and Micheál Burns were both chosen on the session men’s team following their success in the Kerry SFC and the Munster club campaign.
Burns, whose performances also earned him a recall to the Kerry senior squad, is also on a shortlist of three for the club player of the year award but he will face stiff competition from Ruairi Canavan of Errigal Ciaran and Dub Con O’Callaghan of Cuala.
The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday night.
