After a super season on the field of play, Dan Murphy of Rathmore was crowned East Kerry senior footballer of the year while the young player of the year award went to his club-mate Ciaran Collins at the annual district board All-Stars awards ceremony in the Gleneagle Hotel.

The award for intermediate player of the year went to Ronan Buckley of Listry while two administrators who have given outstanding service to East Kerry GAA were also honoured.
The hall of fame inductee was former district board chairman Dermot Griffin of the Fossa club and person of the year is former East Kerry PRO Michael O’Mahony.
Not surprisingly given that they won the O’Donoghue cup, seven Rathmore players made the dream team with six from beaten finalists Kilcummin, one from Genflesk and one from Dr Crokes.
