HIS songs have been recorded by music superstars of the calibre of Aslan, The Backstreet Boys, Boyzone, Lonestar, Geri Halliwell, Cliff Richard, Nathan Carter, Sharon Corr, Brian Kennedy, The High Kings and Frances Black – and now it could be your turn to learn from the maestro.
A song writing workshop and performance will be hosted by internationally acclaimed Irish songwriter Don Mescall in the INEC Acoustic Club, Killarney to mark Culture Night this Friday.
His songs have over 16 million hits on YouTube and those in attendance at the free of charge event tonight will hear just why.
Culture Night Kerry is organised bt the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht and the Creative Ireland Programme in partnership with Kerry County Council.
Tickets for the Don Mescall event are free of charge but must be reserved at the INEC Box Office on 064-6671555. Doors 7.30pm and the song writing workshop will commence at 8.00pm with the performance from 9pm.
