Don and Elvira lined up for best dressed lady event

International fashion designer, Don O’Neill, has officially announced details of the McElligott’s Kia sponsored best dressed lady competition at a photo call in New York City.

The Ballyheigue native, who has dressed celebrities such as Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman, Taylor Swift and Oprah Winfrey, will be judging the event along with businesswoman and model Elvira Fernandez Zebo at Listowel Races on Friday, September 22.

Thanks to sponsors McElligotts Tralee and Kia Ireland, the overall winner of the best dressed lady contest will be jetting off to the Big Apple and staying in the fabulous Fitzpatrick’s Hotel in Manhattan.

This is the ninth year of McElligott’s sponsorship of this prestigious fashion event and they are delighted to once again welcome on board Kia as official event co-sponsors.

In addition to the winner’s prize of a trip for two to New York, there are also generous cash prizes of €1,000 for the most creative headpiece and €500 for the most contemporary outfit.

The 165th Listowel Harvest Racing Festival runs from Sunday, September 17 to Saturday, September 23.

Featuring top-quality national hunt and flat racing, there will be six dedicated fashion competitions during the course of the week, top musical acts and DJs and a festive feeling of fun which makes Listowel Races unmissable.
