BOXING enthusiasts will have an opportunity to develop their skills with two new courses at the Peak Performance Academy at Deerpark Retail Park, Killarney.
An advanced course for those with boxing experience will start on Thursday, April 25 while a new fundamentals of boxing course will commence on Thursday, May 2.
Experienced boxer and trainer Darragh Keogh will direct both courses which follow on from a successful six-week course that has recently finished at the Academy.
Complimentary training advice on strength and conditioning, nutrition and fitness methods from proven scientific sources will be also be available.
Course director Darragh has a wealth of experience following a successful amateur boxing career over the past decade as well as holding a degree in sports science and being a qualified personal trainer.
He has enjoyed huge success on the amateur boxing circuit in Australia, winning several titles, including victories over notable Commonwealth Games fighters and he was crowned Australian Gold Coast champion and North Queensland champion in 2018.
