DR Crokes will face a highly-rated Kerins O’Rahillys in the quarter-finals of this year’s Kerry Senior Football Championship.

The Strand Road side easily accounted for Crokes’ rivals, Killarney Legion, in the last round but Pat O’Shea will be hoping to lead his side to victory and into the last four of the campaign.

Rahillys will look to the likes of Barry John Keane, David Moran, Tommy Walsh, Jack Savage and John Ferguson but Crokes will have no shortage of firepower themselves with quality players of the calibre of Colm Cooper, Fionn Fitzgerald, Kieran O’Leary, Daithi Casey and Brian Looney hoping to add to their collection of county championship winners’ medals.

Rathmore, meanwhile, will fancy their chances of advancing to the semi-finals when they face Mid Kerry, Kenmare will meet Austin Stacks and there is a real humdinger in store when South Kerry take on Dingle.

The venues and dates for the quarter-finals have yet to be finalised.
