Credit Union saves the best for Celtic classic

Killarney Credit Union saved the best for the big day when its representatives triumphed in the annual Killarney Celtic FC golf classic at the weekend.

A total of 45 teams strutted their stuff at Beaufort Golf Club and the winners has an impressive 100 points after a countback with O’Flynn’s Meats in second place and the Dromhall Hotel in third.

Adam Carey took home the prize for the longest drive with the nearest-the-pin honour going to Vincent O’Sullivan.

“It was a fantastic day and the weather was just magnificent,” said Celtic Vice Chairman Paul Sherry who thanked all the teams for participating and the sponsors on the day.
