Bookies Ladbrokes are offering generous odds of the Templenoe man winning the competition – if he does take part – but it is considered highly unlikely that he will chase the famous glitterball trophy previously won by another Kerry GAA star Aidan O’Mahony.
After weeks of speculation, Doireann Garrihy has been confirmed as the new co-host of the hit RTÉ show and Ladbrokes have quoted odds of 3/1 on former Saturday’s crooner Una Healy winning the celebrity dance-off – if she takes part.
Love Island finalist Dami Hope, who recently expressed an interest in taking part, has been chalked up at 8/1 and her fellow 2022 Islander, Jack Keating, is also in the frame at 12/1.
Comedian Joanne McNally can be backed at 10/1, while Ladbrokes give presenter Claire Byrne odds of 14/1 to make a winning return to our TV screens.
The bookies don’t give national GAA treasure Pat Spillane much of a chance, however, making him the 33/1 outsider, should he join the line-up.
