A daughter of proud parents Peter and Nora McDermott, Claire graduated with a Bachelor of Civil Law from National University of Ireland, Galway in 2007.

Her primary education was at St Oliver’s National School, Killarney before attending Balloonagh/Mercy Mounthawk Secondary School and Brookfield College, Tralee.

Claire’s first experience of working in a solicitor’s practice came when she interned for a summer in Pat Mann’s office in 2007.

Having worked in Flynn O’Driscoll for over 13 years, she has solidified her place as a highly respected practitioner within the aviation industry. She advises clients in the areas of aviation and asset finance, employment law and commercial law.

The Airline Economics 40 Under 40 list has been compiled from a record amount of nominations and endorsements, many from senior members of the wide aviation community.

All 40 members of the final list received 1,305 endorsements in total, with the majority of those from clients.
