The master himself, Christy Moore, has just announced a highly anticipated show at the Gleneagle INEC Arena on Friday, July 19 next.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, November 8, at 10.00am from www.inec.ie

Christy Moore’s latest album, A Terrible Beauty, was released on Claddagh Records on November 1 and the 13-track collection includes the singles Boy in the Wild and Black & Amber” the latter penned by Briany Brannigan of A Lazarus Soul, who also contributed the album track Lemon Sevens.

Throughout A Terrible Beauty, Moore weaves stories of resilience, memory and social struggle. The album’s tracks blend personal reflection with social critique, creating an evocative narrative of shared experience.

Songs like Sunflowers, a powerful meditation on conflict and defiance dedicated to Ukraine, pay tribute to both historic figures and contemporary tragedies, including Ann Lovett and Lyra McKee.
