CELEBRITY chef Kevin Dundon cooked up a real treat for diners in the Muckross Park Hotel at the weekend when he gave a top-tips demonstration before preparing a five-course dinner for all to enjoy.
The television personality and author of the book, Full on Irish: Contemporary Creative Cooking, Dundon is the owner of Dunbrody Country House Hotel in Wexford, which also houses the Dunbrody Cookery School.
130 guests attended the Killarney event at which Dundon presented a Christmas themed demo giving insightful tips on some of his favourite recipes.
The menu included pan seared scallops with cider glaze and cauliflower puree, roasted turkey with fig and walnut stuffing and homemade gravy served with caramelised Brussels sprouts with chorizo, roasted parmesan carrots and duck fat roast potatoes. Dessert was chocolate roulade with Christmas pudding cream.
