AN incredibly innovative Killarney schoolboy, who loves angling and cooking, has set up his own YouTube channel to share his passions for both hobbies and to pass on some top tips.
12-year-old Chris Sanbak has been fishing since he was six years of age and he is already a very experienced angler who knows how to land a decent catch.
A fifth class pupil in St Oliver’s National School in Ballycasheen, Chris has always had a great appreciation for food and cookery and he has known from a very young age that he will one day become a professional chef.
His Kid Angler Facebook page is very popular and he is also beginning to make his mark on YouTube with some angling demonstrations from around Kerry as well as cooking and recipe ideas and local history highlights.
Ambitious Chris, who is currently growing his hair to be in a position it to cut it again for charity, has already collaborated on a project with Brehon Hotel executive chef Chad Byrne.
