It might be Friday 13th but it will be a very lucky and happy occasion for the Kerry ladies’ footballers – the reigning All-Ireland champions – who will be presented with their medals that night at a gala reception.
The glittering black tie black tie event will be held in the Great Southern Hotel, Killarney and it promises to be an occasion not to be missed given that it is so historic.
It has been 31 years since Kerry last won the Brendan Martin Cup so the celebrations will be particularly memorable.
Also on the night the players will be presented with their TG4 Munster Senior Championship medals for 2024 which was their first provincial title at senior level since 2017.
The event will kick off with a drinks reception at 6.30pm and dinner at 7.30pm. Music on the night will be by The Pearls Wedding Band with a DJ to follow.
