Kerry soccer kingpins Killarney Celtic FC have marked another stunning season at the annual club awards night with the five-in-a-row league and cup double champions having so much to celebrate.

Despite losing key players to League of Ireland side Kerry FC for a period of time, Celtic have been setting the standard in the game in the county and the trophy cabinet at Celtic Park is packed with honours they have won year after year with their first team, in particular, proving unbeatable.
At the awards night in the Killarney Avenue Hotel Liam Spillane was named senior player of the year and Mikey Moynihan was declared senior B player of the season.

The youth player of the year award was scooped by Cathal Kelly while Aideen O’Brien was chosen as under 17 girls’ player of the year.
Outstanding service awards were presented to Stephen Hayes, John O’Brien and John McDonagh.
The biggest ovation of the night was reserved for Jane O’Donoghue who was presented with the club person of the year award.
Jane is hugely active at all levels in the club and she spearheads a number of major projects including the hugely important and ground-breaking Football for All initiative.
