ALL bicycles great and small will hit the road this Saturday as energetic fundraisers plan to tackle the 180km Ring of Kerry to raise funds for the Ian O’Connell Trust.

High nellies, penny-farthings and traditional butcher shop bikes will all be in use as those involved plan to have some fun in the process.

Their chosen modes of transport might be somewhat outdated but their intentions are impressive as they take to the Ring to support the trust fund establish to support the popular Killarney teenager who was paralysed from the shoulders down in a cycling accident last August.
