
The owner of a car that was damaged in an apparent hit and run while it was parked up in a car park in Killarney has appealed for any witnesses to get in touch.
The vehicle was parked in the public car park at lower New Street, between St Mary’s Cathedral and St Brigid’s Secondary School, when the damage occurred sometime after 12.30pm on Saturday.

The damage caused to the Suzuki Swift was quite substantial and the car is currently not in a condition to drive.
No note was left at the scene by whoever was driving the other vehicle.
The distraught L-plate driver purchased the 08-registered car just a few weeks ago age he is appealing for anybody that may have witnessed anything to contact Killarney Garda Station with information.
