Captain James to host charity fundraiser

THE Captain of Killarney Golf and Fishing Club, James Curran, is organising an important charity day to raise funds for Youth Suicide Prevention Ireland and all proceeds will go to  suicide prevention programmes ion Kerry schools.

The event will take place on Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5 on the Irish Open Killeen course venue with tee-off timed from 7.00am to 8.00 am and again from 2.30pm to 5.30pm on the Saturday and from 7.00am to 3.00pm on the Sunday.

The entry fee is €160 per team of four (GUI handicap only) and there will be a nearest the pin competition on all the par 3 holes.

The event is sponsored by O’Donoghue Ring Hotels and tee box and green sponsorship packages are available for €100.

All entrants will be included in a draw with an opportunity to win a Callaway Epic Flash driver.
