THE main Killarney by-pass road is currently closed following a very serious collision in the past hour. Emergency services are the scene.
Gardaí have alerted the public to the fact that the road is now closed and is likely to remain off limits for some time tonight.
Motorists are asked to take alternative routes and to steer clear of the bypass.
The accident happened on the busy road close to the turn-off to Kilcummin.
