A DOZEN well-known faces in Killarney have signed up to get the fright of their lives in a novel fundraiser in aid of a good cause.
The Killarney version of I’m A Celeb…Get Me Out of Here will take place in the INEC on October 26 and the 12 contestants will have to endure a series of spine-shilling experiences, eat some revolting critters and survive haunting hell holes in an effort to beat their opponents.
The event is being staged in conjunction with main sponsor, Kerry Drain Services, and the masterminds behind it all promise they will put the contestants to the pin of their collars like never before with a succession of Bush Tucker Trials.
They will be split into two teams of six and at the end of the night the ultimate winner will be decided by votes from the audience.
Proceeds will go to the Stephen Lyne Foundation and the Kerry Stars Special Olympics Club promise
