A LANDMARK Killarney hotel has celebrated a decade in business with a knees-up for adults and children held in glorious summer sunshine on Sunday.
The Brehon Hotel, on the Muckross Road, has been open for 10 years and management, staff and guests didn’t let the occasion pass without marking the special anniversary.
All roads pointed to the venue on Sunday afternoon where a variety of fun-filled activities was lined up to keep the younger generation enthralled all through the day.

A treasure hunt, a children’s disco, face painting, puzzles and games were all there to be enjoyed by the pre-teens while the adults in attendance were treated to complimentary food and drink as well as a relaxing Thai head massage from the team of therapists in the hotel’s Angsana spa.
The birthday celebration was hosted by the O’Donoghue family who own the Brehon, along with the Gleneagle complex, the town centre Scott’s Hotel and the Travel Inn in Fossa.
