U2 frontman Bono enjoyed a brief stop-off in Killarney last weekend as he passed through the town on his way to a wedding in Dingle.
The outspoken rock star stunned locals in the west Kerry capital when he accompanied his wife, Ali, on a walkabout near the pier and he popped into Dick Mack’s pub where he enjoyed a pint with the locals.
Never shy in front of the cameras, Bono also happily posed for photographs with several delighted fans, including Killarney woman Mairead de Staic and her husband Brian who is a master craftsman and jeweller with outlets in Killarney, Tralee and Dingle.
