HUGELY popular Picture This have become to first act to sell out the newly rebranded Gleneagle INEC Arena.
Tickets to their gig on December 20 went on sale at 9am this morning in less than three minutes, making them the fastest act to ever sell out the venue.
Last week’s confirmation that Picture This would be the first act to perform at the newly rebranded Gleneagle INEC Arena sparked huge excitement and it became clear that it promised to be a gig like no other.
Speaking on Twitter Jimmy Rainsford said: “The INEC is becoming an arena and we’ve been asked to be the first band to play there. That venue means a lot to us and so does that part of the country.”
Director of Entertainment at the Gleneagle INEC Arena, Mark Egan, remarked: “Picture This last played with us in 2017 where they became the fastest ever act to see out the INEC for two consecutive shows, since then they have become stratospheric and it is no surprise that they have sold out the venue for a third time”
The gig will bring an economic boost of over €1.3 million to the local Killarney economy.
