
FOLLOWING Kerry’s exit from the All-Ireland series at the weekend, a schedule of domestic fixtures for the remainder of the season has been decided, taking into account the fact that Kerry minors will be involved in the All-Ireland final on September 17.
The final round of the senior football leagues gets the busy schedule of fixtures underway this weekend while the quarter-finals of the senior football championship will be played on the weekend of September 24.
The championship semi-finals will be two weeks later and the final is pencilled in for October 22.
The senior hurling championship semi-final will be on Sunday, September 24 with the final on October 8.
The Senior Club Championship final between Dr Crokes and Kenmare Shamrocks will be placed on Sunday, September 10 at a venue to be confirmed.
In the county championship there will be a double bill at Austin Stack Park on Saturday, September 23 with Kerins O’Rahillys taking on East Kerry at 4pm and Austin Stacks v West Kerry at 5.45pm.
There will be another double bill at Fitzgerald Stadium on Sunday, September 24 with holders Dr Crokes playing Kenmare Shamrocks at 1.30pm and Rathmore v South Kerry at 3.15pm.
